Danielle Rogers, resides in Danbury, Ct. She was born in Belgium and moved to the United States in 1973.
Danielle started painting in 1976. Her medium is acrylic and she also enjoys photography, collages and ink drawings.
Her work expresses itself in an abstract-realistic form. Danielle's feelings about experiences, places, people and events compel her to show them through her paintings. She's always been fascinated by the combination and the relationship of color.
As a self-taught artist Danielle has enriched her awareness in classes at the Putnam Arts Council with artist Jeanne DeMotses. At Dutchess Community College and at Arts on the Lake with artist Alex Shundi.
Danielle is a member of the Katonah Museum Artist Association in Katonah, NY,
The Putnam Arts Council in Mahopac, NY and of Arts on the Lake in Kent, NY.
